Screenr - amazing free software from Articulate

Screenr - I was only introduced to this software yesterday and I'm already in LOVE! I received a Tweet from Articulate (the power of social networking) about a webinar they are hosting which contained a link to Screenr. Screenr is a web based recorder which means that you can create screencasts with nothing to download and share them immediately through Twitter. The software is very easy to use (as long as you have a head set and microphone) and you have up to 5 minutes for your screencast.

Key steps in using Screenr: -

1) Go to http://screenr.com/

2) Watch the one minute demo

3) Click on create your own screencast

4) Resize the template to meet your needs.

5) Press the red button and after the countdown reaches 'GO' start talking and clicking.

You can pause at any point but beware - when you press the red button to start again there is no count down. You can also keep trying until you are happy with your screencast. Once happy simply type your message and publish to Twitter for the world to view.
